Why there is no batch symbol-number lookup here
Checking a symbol number means asking the board’s result server on a student’s behalf. Two reasons not to do that in bulk from here: the result belongs to the student it is about, and those servers are already at their limit on the one morning that matters — sending them batches from a third-party site is exactly the load that makes them unreachable for the families waiting on them.
What is useful, and what this does, is tell you the moment an announcement lands so you are not refreshing a portal that has nothing on it yet.
