By using Mero Sanjal you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Mero Sanjal is

Mero Sanjal is a platform that connects diaspora users with services for their family in Nepal: informational tools (calendar, forex, gold), a concierge that assigns verified local agents, gifting, a remittance-comparison directory, and community Q&A.

2. Payments and no custody

For concierge and gift orders, payment is pass-through: funds are held by a named escrow partner and released to the agent only after the task is completed with proof. Mero Sanjal does not hold custody of your funds, operate a wallet, or move money on your behalf.

Our remittance section is a comparison and referral directory only. You transact directly with the remittance provider you choose; Mero Sanjal is not a money transfer operator and earns only referral fees.

3. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and keep your account secure. Your phone number is your identity key.
• Request only lawful tasks, and have the authority to act for the beneficiaries you name.
• Do not misuse the platform, attempt to defraud agents, or bypass the platform to avoid fees.

4. Agents and service delivery

Agents are independent, verified partners. We vet them and hold funds until proof is provided, but we do not guarantee outcomes outside a partner's control. If a task cannot be completed, escrowed funds are refunded per our refund handling.

5. Content and community

Community posts are moderated. You retain rights to what you post but grant us a licence to display it. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, or abusive.

6. Liability

Informational tools (dates, prices, AI answers) are provided in good faith but without warranty; verify anything you rely on. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid for the specific service in question.
