Power of Attorney (अधिकृत वारिसनामा) Embassy Steps
Prepare the Warisnama legal document draft specifying the authorized representative (वारिस) and specific power (land sale, bank operation, or court representation).
Sign the Warisnama in front of the Consular Officer at the Embassy of Nepal in your country of residence. Attach 2 passport-size photos + original citizenship.
The representative receives the document in Nepal and verifies it at the Department of Consular Services (MoFA Tripureshwor Kathmandu).

This attestation makes the document legally valid in Nepal after MoFA verification.

- Original Nepali Citizenship Certificate (नागरिकता प्रमाणपत्र)
- Valid Nepali Passport with visa/residence proof abroad
- Power of Attorney draft document (Warisnama prepared by lawyer)
- Two recent passport-size photographs
- Consular fee payment (varies by embassy, usually USD 25-50)
